Evangelist Bill Abbot has been serving in the ministry of evangelism for the last 12 years. He is the founder and president of Reach Ministries a local church revival ministry. Brother Abbott has spent the last 20 years of his life working with and preaching to young people all over America. Prior to beginning his revival ministry Brother Abbott was the assistant pastor and youth pastor at Southside Baptist Church in Rock Hill, SC, before being sent out from Southside into the ministry of evangelism. In 2008 Brother Stan Wood approached Brother Abbott about becoming the Camp Director for Camp Hosanna in Hiawassee, GA. The summer of 2009 was Brother Abbott's first summer as the active director of the camp. Brother Abbott takes 9 to 10 weeks each summer to devote to the work and ministry of Camp Hosanna. The entire Abbott Family is involved in the work of the camp.
Brother Abbott has been married to his wife Diana for 30 years. The Lord has blessed the Abbott's with 4 children (2 boys/2 girls). Their oldest two children have both now married. Zach and wife Megan live in Pensacola, FL where Zach is working on a masters degree in Educational Leadership. Ethan and his wife Michaela travel as evangelists along side his parents. Their two daughters, Olivia and Priscilla, still live at home and travel with the ministry. Both girls participate in the music and children's program each week and they both work as part of the camp staff.
